RICHMOND, Va. — Virginia Governor Abigail Spanberger has officially signed a law that guarantees patient access to birth control, IUDs, emergency contraceptives, and more.
House Bill 6, patroned by Newport News Del. Marcia Price (and its Senate counterpart, Senate Bill 596, patroned by Sen. Jennifer Carroll Foy of Prince William), passed both chambers of the General Assembly in March. On Wednesday, Spanberger signed it into law.
