WASHINGTON — The Trump administration released plans Friday for a new monument, the Triumphal Arch, near the Lincoln Memorial in D.C. to honor America’s 250th anniversary.
The arch would be built at the end of the Arlington Memorial Bridge, which connects Virginia to D.C. and the Lincoln Memorial.
Design firm Harrison Design has been tapped to handle this project. It is expected that some combination of public and private funds would be used to pay for construction of the arch,
