STERLING, Va. — A man accused of intentionally setting a deadly fire in Loudoun County will remain in local custody despite new federal charges in Pennsylvania, prosecutors said Wednesday, pushing back on concerns the case could be delayed or derailed.

Newly filed court documents show Jacob Bogatin, 78, is facing charges in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and transferred into federal custody for an initial court appearance.
