Montgomery County police cruisers involved in collision while responding to call

Police say no bystanders or officers were hurt.

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. — Two Montgomery County Police officers were involved in a collision with two other vehicles Monday night. It’s the latest in a number of collisions involving police vehicles in recent days. 

Around 8 p.m., police say while third district officers were responding to a call, their cruisers were struck by another vehicle. The initial collision forced the cruisers to collide with another car. The initial report on X, formerly Twitter, does not say whether the officers had their emergency lights on.
