WOODBRIDGE, Va. — Prince William County Police arrested a man after they say two shoplifters sprayed an “eye-irritant” while trying to escape from a Woodbridge BJ’s Wholesale with stolen merchandise.
According to police, on Feb. 20, one of the men sprayed the unnamed substance when they were leaving the store on Noblewood Plaza. Multiple people inside the building experienced what law enforcement described as “symptoms.” One person was taken to a local hospital, but police don’t believe their
