Three takeaways from LSU baseball’s Game 2 loss at Vanderbilt

Game 2 of LSU baseball’s series at Vanderbilt felt like a replay of Game 1, except in the sequel, LSU didn’t make a comeback. LSU only managed three runs on four hits as it fell 11-3 to Vanderbilt on Saturday night. With the loss, LSU loses the series and the Tigers have to fight on Sunday to avoid a sweep by the Commodores.

Just like Casan Evans in game one, LSU’s Game 2 starter Cooper Moore had his worst outing of the season. He gave up five runs on seven hits, four strikeouts, and two walks. Ethan Plog and Zion Theophilus
