Two Georgia football players arrested on reckless driving charges

Two Georgia football players, including one of its top returning players on defense, were arrested on driving-related charges on Wednesday night.

Inside linebacker Chris Cole and outside linebacker Darren Ikinnagbon were each charged with multiple misdemeanors, including each with reckless driving.

They were booked into the Clarke County Jail — Cole at 9:59 p.m. and Ikinnagbon at 10:27 p.m. — and each released on bonds about a half hour later on Feb. 18, according to the jail’s online booking report. The arresting agency is listed as the Athens-Clarke County Police Department.
