Gunfire erupts during party in Spotsylvania County, 3 arrested

Deputies were called a party over the weekend after a fight broke out and gunfire was heard.

SPOTSYLVANIA, Va. — Several people are facing charges in Spotsylvania County after shots were fired at a party over the weekend. One person was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries after he admitted to deputies that he accidentally shot himself. 

Deputies were first called to a home in the 8100 block of Granite Springs Road around 11:30 p.m. for a shooting. Deputies had responded hours earlier for a disturbance call at the same address due to a party. Authorities addressed that call
