Treasure Coast speeding a pandemic; start ticketing
Nowhere do I observe more aggressive driving than here along the Treasure Coast. Speeding is endemic.
It’s not the only infraction. Unruly drivers run red lights, text while driving and execute bizarre maneuvers without benefit of turn signals.
Collisions not involving excess speed usually create fender-benders, not fatalities.
SUVs and pickups approaching rapidly in my rearview mirror are all in a big hurry, often 15 mph to 25 mph over the posted speed. Monkeys do what monkeys see on Netflix.
