UPPER MARLBORO, Md. — As crews continue clearing snow and ice across Prince George’s County, some residents say the cleanup effort has created new hazards, particularly for children trying to navigate icy streets and sidewalks nearly two weeks after a winter storm.
Greg Morris, a parent in the county, said large mounds of snow and ice remain along roadways and near bus stops, forcing children to walk in the street.
