ARLINGTON, Va. — Buddhist monks arrived at their final stop in Virginia, Monday night, at Marymount University.

They were escorted along Glebe Road by Arlington County Police as hundreds of people lined the street to watch them arrive. Some offered flowers, while others paused to pray.
The monks began their walk October 2025 in Fort Worth, Texas, traveling thousands of miles. Their stop in Arlington marked the last one in Virginia before heading into the District.
