Man smashed front of T-Mobile store with sledgehammer, took items inside, video shows

Fairfax County authorities connected the same person to five smash-and-grab burglaries of phone stores.

FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va. — A man was arrested and charged for a series of smash-and-grab burglaries targeting phone stores in Fairfax County. Surveillance video shows the man using a rock and a hammer to break into the store and take items inside. 

Fairfax County Police say the man, later identified as 36-year-old Jimmie L. Williams, from D.C., targeted businesses near Hybla Valley and McLean.
