WASHINGTON — A severely neglected and malnourished senior Yorkie named Apple was thrown down a D.C. apartment building’s trash shoot.
Miri’s Haven Senior Dog Rescue took in the dog after she was found in the garbage of the apartment complex. The person who found her called D.C. Animal Control, who turned her over to the rescue.
