Two people were arrested during an ongoing crackdown on illegal car rallies.
PIKESVILLE, Md. — Law enforcement broke up six illegal car rallies, known as street takeovers, in Maryland on Sunday. The enforcement efforts by the Maryland Car Rally Task Force happened Sunday in Prince George’s, Anne Arundel, Montgomery, and Howard counties. Two people were arrested as a result.
The takedown started around 10 p.m. Sunday and focused on street takeovers taking place on public roads, industrial zones, and parking lots throughout Maryland counties.
