WASHINGTON — DC National Guard members will assist with clearing public schools after a winter storm left roads and sidewalks covered in ice and snow.
Starting Saturday, guard members will help with snow removal at District of Columbia Public Schools (DCPS) and surrounding neighborhoods, under the authorization of U.S. Army Brig. Gen. Leland L. Blanchard II, the interim commanding general of the D.C. National Guard.
