Joaquín Panichelli, after missing out on the midweek win over Slovan Bratislava in the UEFA Europa Conference League, is expected to return to the starting line-up against SCO Angers this afternoon.
RC Strasbourg Alsace didn’t start with a recognised centre-forward in midweek. Panichelli missed out with a minor injury, whilst Emanuel Emegha is out until after the international break. However, the former will return this afternoon.
However, there are still absences that Liam Rosenior must contend with, including that of Mamadou Sarr. Maxi Oyedele and Sébastien Nanasi are also notably absent. Recovered from his illness, Ben Chilwell will be in the squad but may not start.
Mathis Amougou, Diego Moreira, and Kendry Paez could also miss out on places in the starting XI for Le Racing.
